What are the system requirements for the app?

What is Mouse Shaker’s privacy policy?
We don’t collect any data.
Why is it asking me to give permissions?
In order to simulate clicks, scrolling and move the cursor on your behalf, you need to give the app the accessibility permissions. Go to System Preferences -> Security & Privacy -> Privacy -> Accessibility -> Check Mouse Shaker app.
Why is the click not working?
In order for the click to work, you need to make sure to give the app the accessibility privileges. Please, see question above for how to do that.
Why is scrolling not working?
In order for scrolling or switching to different tabs to work, you need to make sure to give the app the accessibility privileges. Please, see question above for how to do that.
Why are there different modes?
By default, the app keeps you active on messaging apps and prevents your computer from going to sleep by regularly telling the system that you're active. However, some messaging apps go a step further and check for actual cursor movement to determine whether you're active or away. Additionally, if your computer usage is being monitored, you may want to simulate more realistic activity — like scrolling, switching tabs, or clicking. That's exactly what these modes are for.
How does the scrolling mode work?
During each Shake cycle, the app will simulate scrolling. For best results, make sure to keep an app that supports scrolling — like a browser or code editor — in the foreground. The scrolling behavior is dynamically generated to mimic natural human movement, with subtle variations that make it less obvious it's automated. You can also enable an option in the settings to switch tabs automatically when Scroll mode is active.
How does tab switching work?
If you enable tab switching in the settings, every 30 to 60s, Mouse Shaker will send the "next tab" or "previous tab" key combination (CMD + SHIFT + ]/[). You have the option to switch tab in order and always go to the next tab, switch back and forth between the current tab and the next one or switch to a random tab.
Where does the click occur?
Click occurs wherever the cursor was left at or at a defined location. Go to Preferences to configure it your way.
Can I use my computer while Mouse Shaker is enabled?
Yes. The app will only simulate activity if it detects inactivity.
How frequently is activity simulated?
Default is every 30s but you can change the frequency in the Preferences.
